I’m not sure how long Facebook has been rolling this out, but in my personal account anyway, I just recently and randomly started getting every notification from any of the pages for which I am Admin in. I’m not sure why this changed all at once, but I wanted it to stop. So here is how you disable Facebook notifications from your pages on your personal account.
1. In the very top right of your Facebook, click the little dropdown arrow, then click on the name of the page you wish to stop receiving notifications for. If you don’t see the page, click “see all profiles” and select it from the list.
2. You are now at your page. Click the the same little dropdown arrow in the top right, then click “Settings & privacy” from the dropdown.
3. Click “Settings”.
4. On the left, click “Notifications”.
5. Click through each notification category and toggle everything to “off” to stop receiving notifications for that category.
Note that you’ll need to do this for each page that sends you notifications.
This happened to me very randomly and was kind of annoying, I’m sure I’m not the only one. Let me know if this helps you at all in the comments!
Also, if you are having trouble disabling the setting “Use Facebook as Page,” check out my other post here.
Ordinarily we talk much more about website design and development in this blog, but we often find ourselves needing to manage our clients’ Facebook pages in order to connect them with the website. Hopefully this post helps you! Let us know in the comments.

So when you turn notifications off, then the notification should say “Turn On” correct?
I believe that is correct, yes.

I am an admin of multiple FB business pages. Is there a way to set that the “Facebook Pages” app only shows the notifications that are related to one specific page only and not all the ones I’m admin of?
Thank you.

Yes, I believe you can follow these instructions and adjust it for each page.
Hi there,
I was recently added as an Admin of my company’s facebook page. There are several of us that are Admins. I want to be able to disable notifications for my company page on my own personal facebook (to leave work at work). Is there a way to do this without disabling notifications for all of my co-workers who are also Admins?
Thanks!
Hi, if I stop the notification with this method, will the other people managing the page still receive the notifications? Cheers
I’m pretty sure it affects you only, but you might want to have another member of your page check the settings from their end when you’re done just to verify.
Has anyone been able to follow these directions? There is no “Edit Page”, no “Your Settings” and no “Onsite Notification” so basically this info is either really outdated or I’m blind
Hi Ben,
You are right, it was outdated! Things have changed since I originally posted it. I have now updated it, and everything should be current!
There is no “Edit Page” and “Update Info”. There is an “Edit Info”, but there is no “settings” underneath it. There is a “settings” in the upper right corner of the page. I have clicked on this and clicked every single “no notification” possible… including going to the offending page (it’s a group page that sends notifications every single time someone posts on it), and unfollowed, clicked on NOT receiving notifications, and also “muted” them for 30 days…… and still I get 100s of these notifications every day. I’ve done everything to stop getting these, but they continue. My only option at this point is to leave the group.
I found the opposite to this for myself. I use to get all notifications from my page to my personal Facebook account also on who liked our business page etc (and so did my partners who are admin of the page) and now we stopped getting these notifications. We liked it because we could continuously invite new people to like our page and build it up but now we can’t and have to manually scroll through each individual post to find new likes to invite to our business page. We have all tried to do the process you have created to do the opposite so we can receive the notifications but it still does not work? Does anyone know how we might be able to go about selecting the right options to activate this for ourselves again? Thank you in advance
Joe,
I have the exact same issue. I was added as an admin to our business manager page and once that happened, I stopped receiving notifications through my phone/on Facebook itself. I also have to go into Business manager to see any insights or messages. This isn’t ideal because I like being able to see things as they come through especially on the weekends. I downloaded the Business Manager app but it only lets me see stuff regarding our ads. Let me know if you have figured anything out.
Is it better to do this on a pc rather than on your phone?
