Brian Johnson Design is happy to announce that we have gone live with a new WordPress site for Ponytail Xpress, a Lakeville-based errand service and personal shopping service. In addition, I noticed today that even though we just launched the site and we only did minor search engine optimizations, it is currently ranking fairly high on the first page for its primary keyword phrase, “Lakeville Errand Service.” We couldn’t be happier!
The site itself is a fairly basic, straightforward WordPress build from the Novelty template (no longer available). This is our first time using this particular template, and it is actually quite impressive. It is powerful, flexible, and easy-to-use.
We kept the design of the site very focused, with an emphasis on the main marketing messages in the slider, as well as descriptions of the services right on the front page. The navigation menu is incredibly easy-to-use and also highlights the main services offered, errand service and personal shopping. Hopefully in time we will also be able to get some great blog posts in there to further help the company along.
